Uh...channel plate (case cover) to do soleniods? The soleniods are right on top and easy to get at when you take the side cover of the trans off. Basically everything we did to drop the cradle and lower the trans side. Without the magnet, putty knife and long pick magical trick.

Yeah, it'* possible. We proved out that the three of us have what it takes. Just remember Justin...we can't let Steve have the torx bolts from the frame to rear motor mount. "Hey..can ya'll chase dis thread fur me?"

That takes a couple gaskets and a few more bolts.

Come on Bill, we talked about that, no channel plate gasket needed. Just need to remove the right bolts and the oil pump, and valve body comes off in one piece. The 4th gear shaft is right there. To change the solenoids you just need fluid. The pan gasket is reusable.

There are two long gaskets that need to be done when you pull the channel plate/case cover (whichever name you use). The soleniods are right out front and easy to swap w/o pulling anything more than the exterior side cover.

If you remove the proper bolts the pump, valve body and channel plate/case cover do come off as one piece. Still need these two gaskets though.

Missed that, yes, there are 2 gaskets, a long one and a shorter one under the valve body.
