Default Engine differences

I was browsing some of the ads on our site and something caught my eye. When looking up our engines it refers you to the buick section. I know these are made by buick.

My question is with the VIN C engines. It lists a seperate version for 1991 that "no vent hole left intake side head"

Anyone know what this is talking about? Was it just a transition mod for that specific year.
