Rear Brake Job
Just thought I'd let everyone know what I've been up to. Today it was the rear brakes.
This stuff is my best friend. I sprayed the brake line connections and some bolts with it about a week ago when I was back there working on the gas tank. It made most of my work quite easy.
So here'* the pile of new stuff. Drums (Raybestos), Wheel Cylinders, Shoes, Springs (All AutoZone brand), Anti-Seize, and two 8-inch pieces of brake line (to go between the rubber hose and wheel cylinder).
Old stuff sitting on the ground. The shoes weren't worn too much at all but I figured I might as well do everything at once.
One side done and back together.
The new drums and shoes make the coolest noise. It'* hard to explain but it'* sort of like an airplane engine slowing down.
Next on my list is finishing up those GP rims and getting the tires switched over.
