Does that car have ELC? If not it wont have a pump.

Yes. This is an old pic of my white SSE. The green SSE that I have now has the missing buttons as well. It does have a compressor under the hood with cords in teh rear shocks to pump air to them. The air is not going through the lines for some reason. I also don't know why the buttons are missing either.

Can you post a picture of your RPO codes? I don't think my compressor is under the hood, I think its under the car towards the rear, i'll have to check on that.

that is really wierd. The air compressor on the 92-99 is under the hood. On the 2000+ it's located on the passenger side near the muffler. It seems like if you have the air outlet for the inflator then you should have the buttons with it too. I don't know why you would have the hose/outlet and not the buttons to turn it on. Very wierd.

Just for the sake of interest, my pump is under the hood on the drivers side

92-99 pumps are under the hood and the 2000+ models changed to the rear

How do you know if you have ELC. Is it just an SSE(i) option? If I don't have the trunk air inflator thing a majig does that mean I don't have it?

ssesc93 01-11-2005 06:12 PM

My air pump butons are missing. I know where the compressor is in my car though. Logan, the only SE's (SLE) that has the air pump is the 95, that I know of.
