Regarding The Now Missing Bonneville "Crash Book"
Well Will & I have came to an understanding & both agree that this info should not be posted openly on the net! The info in question is now no longer available on BC, MNBC & BA forums! All posts regarding this info have in fact been erased from all 3 forums now too! I took a very big risk posting that info for as long as I did. If you didn't view it then, I'm sorry. For those who did get to look at it, congrats & you're welcome! All "Other" info regarding the Bonneville has remained unchanged on the 3 forums. I thank you for your time regarding this matter!

Is this so people can't pull our cars apart?

I think the biggest problem is that our 3 sites (BC, BA, MNBC) are so closely linked, that members openly swap info. For the safety of the Admins of these sites, we have to play it very careful with regards to copyrighted material. The Admins are responsible if we get burned.
If I could, I'd scan my entire library and post it. Not only would that put me at personal risk, but could also risk the Forum itself. Sometimes it's hard to differentiate the right and wrong material, so we err on the side of caution. It's not a fun game to play, because I know from personal experience how important this data is to all of you. Copyrights have the potential to cause our biggest headaches. As these forums grow, it gets harder and harder to manage, especially when you don't know where to draw the line. I invite everyone to re-read the Copright Notice at the top of the forum, and help us in managing it. Thanks, Al. We argue, but one of us usually ends up throwing hands up in disgust and defeat! |

I don't call "this" arguing BTW! I took a risk, & through a little rational common sense from you, decided not to take this risk any longer! we may not always agree! BUt we all have a job to do & must do it even if we don't like it! I know that our friendship is more important to me than ANY squable or difference of opinion we might have too. |
