Really stupid question...

Okay I know what platform are the 2000-2005 Bonnevilles on? G or the H? What did GM offically call that platform? I just need to know! **Because I here both G and H tossed around!** Feedback is most apperciated.

Your VIN will give the official body style:

Character 1: 1 = US; 2 = Canada
Character 2: G = General Motors
Character 3: H = Bonneville, Lesabre

Thank you and the H body was used on Vegas and stuff wasn't it? I know they used the G body name on mid 80's Monte Carlo's and Grand Prix's.

I have said this one too many times... LOL

The 00+ Bonnie is an H body... But with the 00+ update it sure did take use a lot of designs simmilar to the G body...

Yet GM offically VIn'd it an H body ;)

For the 2000+ models, the G and H bodies are nearly identical. To be honest, I am not really too sure of what the differences actually are. Everything chassis wise between our 2000 Bonnevilles, and my 2001 Aurora appear to be identical. I think the difference may be in that the H body chassis is slightly longer than the G body. The Bonneville is nearly a foot longer than my Aurora is.

Thanks is your Aurora a G? Or an H? And is there an H-Body Club for for FWD cars... Not Vega's...

The Aurora is classified as a G body.
