Any recommended child car seats for Bonneville & Grand P
My son is turning one year old, and he'* now around 23 pounds and is at the maximum size for his infant seat. We need a rear-facing child seat now. Our cars are my 97 Bonnie SE, and my wife'* 01 Grand Prix GT.
Anybody with kids have any recommendations for an excellent child car seat to use in my Bonnie and wife'* grand prix?
We have an Eddie Bauer/Cosco infant seat with detachable base and integrated stroller. But I'm seeing about 50% good / 50% bad reviews on the Eddie Bauer child seats. Thought I'd just cut straight to the chase and ask people here that have the same cars. All info on experiences good/bad are welcome.

We just picked up 2 Evenflow Discovery seats with 2 extra bases for the granddaughters. The car seat portion snaps out of the base and can be used in the other vehicle which will allready have a set of bases in it.
Go to www.evenflo.com to check them out. I liked the base idea because of the ease of just transfering seats and not having to strap the car seats in everytime you switch vehicles. Plus in our situation when the daughter drops them off in the car seats as carriers, we have a set of bases to safely transport them.
edit, yes her car is a GP and ours, well , you know.

I think the Discovery seat is an infant seat. My son is outgrowing his infant+base seat, I need a child (toddler/booser combination) seat. Any other experiences?
