Yesterday while driving I had to brake pretty hard at a yellow light. Right when I started to brake, I hit a sewer lid/ pothole. This made the brake pedal sort of bounce under my foot maybe 3 or 4 times really fast. Then about a minute later when I parked and opened the door, the cd player continued to play. Shut the door and still was playing. Started the car up again and then turned it off, got out and it shut off like normal.

Don' t know if these two things were related, but later that day on the highway the front driver side wheel sounded louder/felt different than normal when hitting puddles. I think I'm going to take it in to a shop to have them check the alignment/ stuff related to that.

Does this sound like a series of related or unrelated events?

This sounds like an Oregonian mechanical post. lol

I would think the bouncing of the pedal was the ABS doing it'* job. Was there any noise to go along with it?

The radio is a technical difficulty and until it does it again, I wouldn't get overly worried about it.

When you say the tire felt heavier, have you checked the air pressure in your tires to ensure you don't have any that are low?

I didn't notice any noise other than the sound the pedal made when bouncing.

I eyeballed the tire when I got back to school last night. Looks fine, maybe slightly low. When driving it felt like the same sized puddles "grabbed" the car a whole lot more than it did earlier in the day. I can see how that would indicate low tire pressure. Maybe that pothole did something :( Its not flat right now however, so thats good.

Next time I leave school I'll get them rotated. Its been a while.

I figured it was probably nothing, but It just seemed weird that it all happened one after another.

Ask around to your school buddies.. someone should have a tire pressure gauge. You'll be surprised how low a tire can be without actually looking low.
