Hi Folks,
Stan: I'll say again what others have mentioned: Glad to hear all passengers were fine. Nice to hear our Bonnie's look after us.
If you have an option to buy it back, and it's affordable, it can be fixed.

Here is my old Integra. When I bought it, it was wrapped around a tree:

After a new front clip, air bag pack, and a bit of black metallic paint, here she is:

Most of the work was done by my brother and I.

Funny thing is, I traded it even for a Ford Explorer. 3 weeks after the trade, I got hit very hard by a pick up truck towing a utility trailer. I was hit by the pick up, spun around, then whacked by the trailer. By the time the Explorer stopped spinning, my clothes were back in style!
If it happened in the Integra, I would have been in rough shape.
The Integra is alive and well, living in Hamilton.

Just wanted to share that with you. May Nightmare rise again!!

I am glad that your daughter and friends came out of the accident just fine... They will feel it for a few more days... Any plans on another Bonneville? Maybe a Medium Garnet Red one

A medium garnet red one? How did you know I was looking at one?

Yeah, if my parents knew what I got into...and by the same token I hope I never know what my kids have done! LOL!

I'm beating the bushes right now to see what I can spook out. I'm in no need of a replacement, so I have time to pick & choose.

I pried the hood open last night, labonne, and there's a lotta damage under there. I'll bet $2k easy. Pushed the radiator right back into the ignition coils. Both fans are toast, A/C is toast, entire front clip is history. Then there's the little things like the airbox (broken brackets). Not to mention a new rear bumper cover because mine got cracked in the accident. That's just what I could see easily. You are correct, though, the car IS fixable, just don't know if it's worth it to me. One more thing I'm trying to assess. I have lots of options.

A Challenger SRT8 is lookin' mighty tempting right now... 8)
Or maybe a Z/28 Camaro?

Ha! I don't know what's in my future right now. SSEi would be nice too. Again, I'm in no hurry.

"Crash" Hannah got behind the wheel of the Star Chief and drove herself to school today. It's warm and dry enough that defrosters weren't required (Chief has a defunct heater core), so she was able to drive. 6 days ago she swore off driving for-EV-er. So, we now know that forever is 6 days long.

Haven't heard diddly from the insurance folks on my car's future, so I still don't know if I'm going to be able to part her out. Good thing that wasn't my only car. I haven't pushed 'em either. Maybe it's time for a call...

...or, more accurately, what they're going to do to me.

Insurance adjuster stopped by and claimed the car a Total Loss. By the time he stopped assessing things, he was up to $8000! $8000?! That sounds a bit excessive, but even if it was $3000 it would have been a TL. That didn't include the damaged rear bumper cover, and only $200 for the HUD windshield (I know they're more like $800-900). Anyway, they should let me know what they'll sell it back to me for in the next day or two. I have a line on another 93 that I may not be able to pass up, so it may be a month or so before I offer up any parts...might need some for my own car! 8) So stand by. If I buy her back I'll post in the for sale section when I'm ready to sell parts.

I was a bit shocked to discover that they also TL'd the Grand Am we hit. Look at the pictures, it doesn't look that bad. Had a little damage on the left front fender, but it looked fixable.
