belt broke on my car, volt light came on and power steerign is dead. what belt do i need to buy? i gotta get this done, SNOW STORM coming.

serpentine... but i remember willwren telling me on the older models that the sc belt ran other things. ill put it this way, if the belt that is on the sc pulley is intact, then you need a serpentine belt. make sure you buy a gatorback

I thought they were both serpentine belts.

It is the power steering belt I think is what your store will call it.

You need the Accessory belt, not the SC belt.

SC belt runs the SC and water pump.
Accessory belt runs the PSteering and Alternator.

I broke my serpentine belt going at least 70 mph and it took out my water pump and my crank sensor. We had to take the tire off and go in through the wheel well to fix it.

i remember when my acessory belt broke, i almost crashed into another car getting it off the road (im pretty week, so im supprized i even got it off the road). it was crazy.
