Question for diagnosing procedures.
 

While diagnosing issues with a miss, it is normally recommended to pull the spark plug wires one by one to see if the miss changes, usually pointing to the dead cylinder, tool of choice usually includes rubber gloves, with rubber insulated handle pliers, etc etc, and still get a bit of a bite. One time on our bonneville, i wired up a ground wire to the metal handle pliers, and had just a regular work glove on, and felt nothing at all. So, with the ground wire, can it cause problems, or is this a cool way not to get shocked?

You know there is a easier way....

Simply pull the injector plugs one at a time. ;)

There's less to damage on inector clips. They're steel.

Another approach is to pull the plug wires off one at a time at the ignition coil. If you hold on to the end of the plug wire, and nothing else on the car, you should not get shocked as the ignition wire is a better path to ground, than you would be. You can hold the wire close to the coil terminal and observe the quality of the spark this way, too.
