I've seen one GXP IRL, and it was a white one at Wal-Mart. It exploded. I guess the curse is true.

I don't see the problem with towing, you guys are short sighted and narrow minded, The 4T80-E is a FWD version of the MT1 series. It'* "sister" is the 4L80-E. Both are rated to "push" or "pull" 8000Lbs. The MT1'* are modern versions of the TurboHydromatic 400. The 4L80-E is an option in Chevrolet/GMC Pickups, Vans, SUV'*, Commercial vehicles, and the Hummer H1. It has also been used in Roll'*, Bentleys, and Jaguars.

The GXP isn't in the class of a Taurus in any fashion.

Cheaper to install a hitch than buy a truck if all you're going to use it for is a small trailer

Hey, I'd have no problem about pulling this behind mine. Who wants to buy Grampa V an early Christmas present...

V you should get a boat and trailer painted to match your car and then tow it. That'd be sweet to see going down the highway

It would cost some mad money to marbelize my boat. And would truly look gay towing it behind the GXP. I snapped this pic Monday up at the Finger Lakes in Auburn, NY.
