Give You Supercharged Engine What it Wants!
While driving the bonne the other day, it shuddered really bad and when you let off the gas it stopped and you could keep driving, anywasy it did this about 4-5 times on the way to town, the one time it got so bad the SES (service engine soon) light started flashing, i let off the gas completley. We got the oil changed (Mobil 1 10w30 synthetic)and put some Sunoco Premium 93 in it gave the car a little shake and the bonne ran Beatuifully.. Note that we have the Supercharged engine and GM recommends Premium Gasoline, Anywyas we have been running gas in this pattern...
Fill the tank 3/4 with regular or midgrade then later on in the week fill the tank up with 93 or higher.
The car hadnt given us any problems then, but maybe we got some bad gas. Anyways i like feeding my good ol bonnie what it wants, 20 Cents extra wont kill me!

Any high compression or supercharged/turbocharged car needs 90-94 gasoline all the time. The car states that on the dash cluster and the gas cap area.

...And you should check to see if there are any error codes stored in the computer.
It'* possible that you may have jumped to the wrong conclusion in assuming that the cause of the problem was the octane rating of the gasoline.
