Powerslot rotors...

Ok, it's brake upgrade time. And I'm sick of constantly warping the stock rotors.

So, where is the best place for Powerslot rotors? How much are they going to set me back?

Any recommendations for pads that will be quiet, wear good, and stop well?

bump....anyone? I did a search but could not find the best place to buy these.

No idea about the buying...powerslots

Pads..I'd suggest ceramics..take your choice of which brand.

Need to ask...how the heck do you guys keep warping rotors so quick? I'm seriously hard on brakes and don't warp rotors...are you riding them like granny would?

I'd be willing to bet that most people don't torque their lugs to spec.

That's pretty much it, the last shop that did the brakes didn't torque the lugs to spec.

Ditto here. I beat the crap out of my breaks and I'm still doin great with stock rotors.

Edit:

If I were going to buy powerslot rotors, which I will probably do once I start making this car go REALLY fast, I'd buy them from www.ajusa.com I've had great luck with them in terms of price and customer service. (Plus the free shipping on a big order is sweet)

I can't find my reciept. Still looking. It was the best internet price with free shipping I could find.

Ryan 01-11-2006 01:31 PM

ajusa doesn't ship to Canada. Thanks for looking Bill, keep me posted.

ajusa shipped my K&N to Canada, but dinged me more on shipping than the filter was worth lol

I wouldn't bother with the PowerSlots if I were you. When I had my 2000 GTP I warped the Powerslots as easily as the OEM and AC Delco rotors, and yes and the nuts were torqued properly. As the guy from ING Banks says "save your money".

I have a set of EuroRotor disks now, they're cheap and assumably low quality but they've lasted longer than any other rotor I've had. If you want something 'better' you can check out KVR, they're in Ottawa but likely have distributors out west.

Cheers,
