i kno most ppl are unaware of the power and luxury of the bonneville, and consider it an old man car, and today i found out why, i was on the highway, traffic moves about 75-80 there, and there was an OLD guy with huge glases in a bonneville se or sle, cudnt tell cuz i passe dhim too fast, lol he was going about 45 with a line of about 15 cars behind him

yes the SE is the base and targeted at the older byers, and the SLE, and the dropped SSE, and the SSEi were aimed at younger business men, who needed a family car but also good looks and some speed

you could call me the VERY first " old man car of the month" then

BTW, i think its DAMN easy to distinguish between SE and SLE.... they are completely different body styles. Now the SSEi and SLE is a different story. Do you even know what you are talking about?

if you are talking about those 92-96 cars...those arent officially SLE.. its just an SLE package with leather.. its still an SE model.

I agree that there are a lot of older older folks driving them and I think that helps others think they are slow cars until someone like one of us comes up and blows their doors off with just normal driving. They are great sleepers. I love when people underestimate me.

you are kidding me right??? How could it be a SE if its a SLE?? Yes the body is the same, but there are many features that are included in the SLE package, at a cheaper price than a SE with the same options, and the SE wasnt available with the ECC, and If you have the H4U you have a SLE. And its the 93-97 cars that look like the SE

and if you theory is correct then the there is no SSEI, its just an SSE with */C for the 92-99 and a SLE with a */C for the 2000+
