Cool 2000 Bonneville SSEI vs 1994 Chevy Caprice LT1

A friend of mine has a 94 caprice and we would get into endless arguments over who'* car would take a quarter mile. I did a little research and in my opinion my Bonneville would be a hard earned win. Although the LT1 has 260 horses to my 240, his car weighs considerably more. Im sure of the torque specs or 0- 60 times but I know from the times that me and him are driving on the road together and I get on it a little bit, I always have a slight advantage on his car.

We made plans to go to the track in a couple weeks so I just wanted your guys opinion before I embarrass myself.

Weight is not your friend at the track. So you being lighter will be a big plus. Also being supercharged gives you a torque advantage. Do all you can to strip weight, turn off traction control, have your gas tank below half full. All this will help. A stock SSEi should get you in the low 14s depending on your driving. The race is won or lost in the first 60 feet of the track.
