is this normally how oil pressure sensors fail?
I knew the sensor was out on the PA since I was getting a 120 reading and since Boosty sent me a new one to replace it, I figured today was the day to install it.
When I got under there, I discovered that it appears I had an oil leak, coming from the connector of the sensor :? It was not a huge leak, but I could tell there was oil seaping out of the connector end of the sensor. When I unplugged the connector, there was a good few drops of oil that dripped out of the electrical end. I cleaned up the connector with some carb cleaner and Electronic cleaner and it looked like new. I also installed the new sensor and everything is working fine. Pressure is at 62 PSI on a cold start.
So, is this normal? (this is after I drained the oil out of it.)
