Warp speed performance has made sub frame connectors for our H -bodied cars however they need a test subject in the Arizona area.
If anyone lives there email me and I can give you alot more details.

Basically they sell bars that are welded to the bottom of your car and make the handling UNREAL it’* like a 300 x'* better than stock.
Prices are reasonable only 200 for the complete setup minus the weld.

Just to let you know, our cars are the W-Body, not the H-Body. And secondly I can make sub-frame connectors for like $50 max instead of $200 plus usually subframe connectors dont allow you to take off your exhaust and make it more of a pain to work on the underside of your car when you need to.

Nope, our cars are H-body. Grand Prix'* are W-body.

how often do you work on the undbody of your car?? its not like we ned to drop trannys n work on dual exhaust all the time.
but teh connectors can adapt to your exhaust and they are removable incase you need to work on it.

Well maybe your year isnt a W-Body, but when I went to the dealer, my bonneville is a W-Body and I compared it to the Grand Prix to see if the brakes are the same and such to see if I can convert the rear to discs from a Grand Prix. I have a 99 so in the engine change of 95/96 might have switched the bodies but I am pretty sure we are both W-Bodies. And since both cars are about the same size and have similar suspension and such, it makes sense. Look at this site if you dont believe me.

Called the Dealer and all the Bonneville’* are h body, although the changes in certain years make them similar to the w body in a few ways. If anyone tells you its a w body get them to prove it with some sort of gm documentation.

I already have the measurements set and am building my own "bolt on" sub frame connectors. I also have a line on a lowering kit but am going to test it out first. All the items I am going to set up will be cost effective so that there is a do it yourself ability with the products. I have found most Bonneville owners are not into spending too much money on their cars, but are willing to spend a bit at a time. The suspension is still in the air right now but will be worked out. Any suggestions for the height you would like to see the standard drop? My kit will include all the appropriate adjustment items required to make the kit complete. I also have a company who is ready to do the suspension drop in big #* if I get the right response. If there is anything you want for a Bonneville I am interested in setting up a “basic” store that brings existing products and new ones together at a reasonable price. I was thinking this way people could bring there worthy home grown products to this fickle market with ease. Any ideas? I know a few people wanting to cash in on the Bonneville market, but the research shows it is still too small to support a big store. Soooo I want to try this less risky plan first. Oh I will also be providing smooth look options for the Bonneville owner looking for that. Still on the drawing board at this time. I don’t want this to be a “me only” project I would rather collaborate to reduce cost and to maintain quality. I know of an intake unit being made by a member, I know of rear sway bars already produced, suspension components, and a lot of odds and ends. I really need some input any ideas or wish lists welcome.

I used to work for GM at the proving grounds for a semester. look at the VIN. it should go 1G2H*********. The forth letter/number designates the body. W bodies ARE the Lumina/GP/Cutlass Supreme/Regal. In 1995, GM introduced the G-body (Riviera and Aurora). Then when the Seville STS was redone (i think in '99), GM redid the G-body and had been using that platform for most of it'* products, including the 2000 Bonneville.

So the 2000 Bonneville is a G body? I have reviewed the sub frame idea and it can be done very easily but the problem is the amount of flex is minimal and the engineers I have talked to said there was actually no need for the bars. Actually they laughed a good long time "at me”. I am sure there is some merit but i was told first put on anti sway bars then get used to the suspension...Then they said add all the "nifty" bars to the uni-body. Other than a slightly stiffer ride they say it will be mostly the same ride but heavier. Now I would love some input because if there is some merit other than other people saying the car feels different then I could throw it at these guys. They love to bug me.
