Hid my neons! no more cheap looking visible tubes!
Thats right! I finally made shields today to hide my underbody neons on the sides of the car. I painted the bottom side of the shields aluminum to reflect more light to the ground, and painted the top to match the car. I used some scrap galvanized sheet metal we had on the farm that actually was bent at the correct angle, so all i had to do was cut it with a sawsall. (PITA)
i can't post pics till i get back to college tho :?

I need to hide mine too, I have angle iron made up but the done fit flush on the bumpy contours of the floor. Are there any gaps in the galvanized shields, or did it mold into shape and fit tight?

i had to grind away a little slot for each side, but other than that, the body molding on my car is flat enough for it to fit right up.
