had my personal mech look at it today........ no stat and a clog somewhere, no antifreeze and the water had evaporated hence the overheating.... added a 160 stat (not sure why 180 would of been fine) and dexcool... air blows cool now in the city.... blows cold on the highway....

Not sure why but this car doesnt cool as much as my 96 ford escort... maybe cuz my scort is 134a and the Bornevil is still R12.... any suggestions..

Also i would like to know if anyone might know if i can add a newer gm cd player to the 1992 bonne se without loosing the use of the controls on the wheel.... also was a cd player an option back 92? If it was i could just switch to a 92 cd player. Please respond. Thanx.

sorry should have posted on previous topic...

The 92 and 93 have a CD player unique to those two years. You can find them for sale on ebay sometimes. They are rare.

I have put a newer one into my car. It takes wiring modifications and slight mounting modifications. Let me know if you are interested in doing it.
