AL7..and other option?
1. I have AL7'* but my headrests don't tilt. Why? I thought those were standard :(
2. When I turn the car off, everything power shuts off (radio, windows). On my SSE the power stayed on until I opened the door (radio, windows...) Was this an OPTION or something?

Pics of your headrests shot from underneath with the headrest up?
You may have a bad RAC module. Retained accessory power. Might have to post something for some troubleshooting. Could be as simple as a bad door switch.

I don't have pics, can get some later. I have to lean my head way back for it to rest on the headrest. I'll blame Canada.
I'll post about the RAP today.

I think the RAP is an option. My 94 does the same thing. The radio will stay on until I open the door or I sit there for 10-15 minutes then it goes off. I dont think anything is wrong. My brother has a buick that does the same thing too.
As far as the tilting headrests, im not sure about. Maybe they were swapped out before you bought it?

Pete, it'* more of a 'rotate forward' than a tilt. Be firm with them. There should be gaps in the under padding and covers to allow them to rotate forward on the posts.

All the headrest leather is made the same. If Pete looks for the slit ...he'll find it no matter what. CFoote and I swapped the leather off his non tilters onto tilting ones and it fit great.

the padding and the leather has the provisions for the Tilters even if they dont....i am looking at 3 non tilters and 2 tilters right now, and they physically look the same....
but as mentioned give them a good push forward....or you can loosen the J clip remove the leather and the padding to see if they are in fact tilters or not
EDIT....Boost beat me to the post by one min

Yeah, they definitely have the gaps/slits, but don't tilt. I tried pretty darn hard on both. They were easy to tilt on my SSE. I'll try again though.
