Rear drum brakes
Hey, I'm new to this website but had a question. My rear brakes wore out in under two years, never changed my front brakes and only 23k miles. Anyone know anything about this. Could they be stuck? Any insight would be awesome.

Like Mike says, it would help to know what vehicle this is for. Lift the rear wheels in the air and spin the wheels by hand. Are the rear brakes rubbing, or do the wheels turn freely.

If you haven't changed the back brakes yet, when you do, get the spring/clip kit and replace it all. Pull the adjuster off, clean it up to remove any corrosion or build up of crappage, and put some grease in it. Adjust the adjuster so the the new drum slides on and off without interference, and when it is all back together do several stops whie backing up until you feel the brakes are fully engaged.
Also, check to make sure the park brake is fully disengaging.
