So last week after finally getting some free time at the shop i decided to pull my camaro in and swap out my body mount bushings for polyurethane..Welll come to find out i was missing the currents and the holes were slightly rusted.SO i decided welp time for subframe to come out and repair to be done.So i cut the exhaust off (junk to me) anyways then procedded to yank the frame out.here we are with it out.Sounds simple right ha

Then it was onto fixing the bad spots

then twas time for an actual sandblasting and repaint then installing new trans member bolts and all the new bushings

then i put it all back together..By this time it was 3 am i was tired and still had to measure bend cut weld and fab up an exhaust.i also pulled the ac box out and made a delete panel i started at 4 pm thursday and was done and on a test run at 9 am friday..was very tired ill snap some pics of the finished stuff soon

i wish i could do that with my car. looks good.

Thanks justin now I just gotta finish up the paint on the new bumper cover and hood and itll be perfect.......for noww it wasnt easy making the patches were a pain none of my bits were big enough so I had to use the bridgeport to drill the holes...idk if your familiar but the 1.5 inch bit was not desighned to cut down more sideways but it worked just slowww n steady

dont know what a bridgeport is. i think i have a idea kinda looks like a drill bit but is used for machining stuff? i dont do any of that really. we have carbide hole saws at work to cut stuff like that.

looks like a giant drill press but has alot of the same movements of a drill press and lathe all tied into one..
