Unfortunately you really left a gap between the 90'* and the current styling. I am partial to the early 2000'* styling yet i do not like the new Grand Prix'* and all the other new cars that are coming out that look like space craft hybrids. I really do like the 92-95 SSEi body cladding a lot though.

I agree with you. Put it this way I still look at my 95 with big gleaming eyes. I love my GXP but......i the 95 seems more to me. Maybe because It was my first car or I have had so many memories and compliments of it in highshcool. i dunno

I second this! (although my 1998 LeSabre is 10x as comfy inside vs. the 2004)

But I'll tell you what I really like...the boxy, square-edged, utilitarian GM sedans from the mid-80'*. Cavernous under the hood, in the cabin, and in the trunk.
I especially love those station wagons!

(Call me Mr. "Function over Form.")

If you put today'* electronics and powertrain controls on one of those RWD platforms, THEN you'd have a freakin' car.

im torn....i have a 10 year gap between the cars that i have

i love the agressive front end look of the 92-95, but the 00+ has the new popular Wedge shape......

now your front end on your 2003 I think is great I love how the grill is placed (actually I am looking at a SSEi for the fiance) but I like the back end better on my 95 UNLESS you have simialar exhaust to the GXP. My 95 from the back at a low angle looks so fricking wide. Thats why I like it.

Early 80'* Chevys and Opels do it for me. The '93 is too bubbly, The '87 had too high of a roof, to '00+ are all wedged in the front. I just got used to the NBS Chevy trucks and they come out with this crap in '08. It'* ugly and cheap looking. Why can't we do like britian and just do little updates every few years with redesigning the whole she bang...

Hmm....thats difficult.

I like the 88-91 Bonneville style H bodies....not my favorite, but I'm tellin yah, a black sse, tint, chrome wheels? YOW!

Now...

92-95...SSEi, Love them in Green...hmm, both of wren'* or nates old one are an example of my favs, hard to say...

96-99 SSEi, absolute favorite, midnight blue, chrome t-stars, hands..down.

00-03 SSEi, black, white, or navy blue, 03 Ei 5 spoke chrome wheels.

04-05 GXP, black, white-gold tricoat, midnight blue, greystone metallic. perfect..

Ratings?

I would say...in order

in percentile: 15/18/24/20/23

96-99 SSEi wins by a hair over 04-05 GXP. JUST a hair.
