swapping a transmission from a '94 to a '96 Bonneville

i beleive they are both the 4t60e so i do not see why not unless the bolt pattern is diffrent..if you would like....i have a 97 and 94 bonneville i can look at all the mounts and let you know if the mounts are the same and if so as long as the bell housing is the same wich it should be you wouldnt have a problem....unless the main elctrical connector is diffrent

I think the biggest difference would be that the harness in the transmission needs to be changed. I don't remember what years would need to be changed though, and what years are happy together.

The interchange book says that I have to find a '96 or '97 tansmission because of the electronics, I heard that they changed something in the engines for those years, but I was hoping that you could still swap the trannies from other years. Thanks
