Default What can I do with Laptop?

I have a laptop I got through school, and if it'* relatively cheap what can I do with it in my car (engine wise)? I have a 1993 ODB I car, so i know that limits me already, but what can I do with it, and how much would it cost?

You can get some software and a cable to monitor the data like a handheld scanner.

Software is usually free - Cable costs between $20-$40. Do a simple search on the internet for GM ALDL software.

I've never used any of the laptop software, but the OBD 1 stuff should be pretty straightforward, without much variation.
