Default I finally got to test drive a SSEi

Well I was in town today and I saw my car.. A 93 SSEi with all the bells and whistles except the moonroof. Man that car was awesome. Only had 87K on it. Drove it around for about 30 minutes with the dealer. That supercharger really makes that car run. My question is what'* this car worth? Body is in very good condition. New tires on aftermarket alloys. Interior is good and the last owner was an older gentleman. Car looks clean under the hood and has been serviced regularly. They are asking $3500 for it. What does everyone think?

$3500, well I was going to say around $3200 before I read that, so yeah that seems to be a good price for a 93 with that many miles and in great shape. You thinking of buying it?

That sounds right to me. less then 90k miles, all the toys, and in great condition is fair. I paid $3900 for mine in MN. Nothing else was in such a good condition.

And you're in wyoming, not much selection out there.

I'm finally glad someone understands me on that one. It sucks here for car selection.

Its insulting to a seller to low ball like that I feel. I tried that with my Aurora and it almost cost to lose the car in the bidding war I ended up in.

$3500 sounds like a really good deal. Sounds like it was taken car of too. I would offer $3300 cash and drive away.

But thats just me.

When I test drove Merlins 97 before he bought it, I was impressed. I wont compare the V8 to a SC'd 3800 but if its the 3800 you want...and you feel right about the car, then go for it

Last year of the PCM flash feature. Last year of the TRUE OBD1. Last year of the on-board ECC diagnostics. Gotta love the 93'*.

No pressure though!

(and notice the first 2 gearheads here drive 93 SSEi'* as well)
