Oil Pump

i have 3.8l that came out of a 93 with only 55,750 mi on her....
i'm going to rebuild her this winter... Whatoil pump should i use stock or
a Hi psi high vol????

Is a high volume available? I was under the impression that Intense sold a kit with spring etc for the relief that would gently bring the pressure up a bit w/o swapping the pump.

Don't change it. We've never seen one fail. Ever that I can recall.

If you are going to rebuild the low milage engine and there has never been an issue with the engine such as bearing failure... Then I'd reuse the oil pump/front timming cover, replace the front seal and reinstall on the engine....

I use white lithium grease on the cam and cam bearings before installing it. But that's just me.
