Sooo Stupid
I went into a meeting this morning and it was so nice and sunny out. I left my sunroof open and during my 45 minute meeting we got a 10 minute thunder storm. I even looked out the window to see if I closed my sunroof and thought I could see it was closed. Just to my suprise when I got out of my meeting to drive to my office I find that it was open. Suede and leather all very wet. I wiped it up as best I could but I still had to sit on a wet seat while driving to my office. Luckily it has been perfectly clear skies and in the mid 80'* today so I parked my car just outside my office window with all the windows and the sunroof open. It seems to have dried nicely and so far I can't smell anything so hopefully it dried soon enough to avoid that wet smell. Stupid, Stupid me!!!

It happens. At least you had the sense to let her air dry when you could.
There are a couple of plugs/junctions that you might wanna check (I'll let the gearheads expand on that), and the carpet padding might still be damp for a few days, though, depnding on how wet it got in there.

I'll 'fess up. I did the same on my GXP, realized it 20 minutes in a down pour. Lucky the wind direction left the front of the cabin unbelievably dry. But I had over an inch of water in the rear floor pan depressions and some water under the seat. Back seats were soaked. Thank God for Microtek towels. And the fact that the seats have their weight in Armour All on them.

It was only about 10 minutes or so and it came straight down so it was pretty much the cup holders, gear shift, center console and front seats. I had my bag on the passengers seat so most of that was dry. I guess I should just count my blessings it was only what it was. None of the carpet was wet so hopefully I won't have any more problems. We will see what it'* like in the morning with it being closed up all night.
