Default Went Junkyarding Today

I went to the local junkyard for the first time in almost 2 years cause they weren't that great. But since time has past and 90s cars have aged there were some interesting finds. One 93' */C SE with suprizingly everything still in tact under the hood and a 92 Park Avenue Ultra. Again supercharger in tact. Superchargers from the junk yard are only $30 so in a year or two some S2 L67s might pop up. If I grab one of those M62s and clean em up how much do you think they'd fetch on ebay?

For those prices you should pick them up, put new couplers and bearings in, clean up the cases and rotors, and you should be able to get around $250, maybe more on ebay in a set price auction -wording is everything and you'd want to make sure interested party'* know they are freshly rebuilt. Might even do a little smoothing of the inlet and outelt, as well as chamfering the outlet and you might add another $75-$125 depending on the extent of the porting/polishing.

Holly crap I didn't know they went for that much. Damn, I had this gut feeling to bring the tool box but then I thought they always had crap selection there forget it. Heh, they should still be there on Monday. I did a little trickery on the hoods so only I know how to open them.

WHOAH!!! Don't get in too big of a rush. I said $250, meaning, if you rebuilt them.
With just a new coupler, oil and cleaning the outside of the case you are probably going to be looking at around $140-180 max. Selling as is, with only a cleaning, leaving the oil and coupler alone you are going to see right around $100-125.

That supercharged 93 wasn't an SE. It had to be an SSE or SSEi. No SCSE in 93.

I went yarding yesterday as well, and struck out on door trim to fix the SLE'* leaky rears. Only 3 at my favorite yard. A 97, a 98 (both SE'*, and totally stripped) and a 89 LE, ready for scrap. No doors, hoods, fenders, or any useful interior crap. Totally gone.

I went as well. Bunch of bonnevilles ( 1 40U white 92/93, one maroon 92/93 SE, 1 93 SSE green/grey, 97 SE white on gret cloth, and then an assortment on 92-95 SE and 3-4 87-91 bonnevilles.) also ran across two more 5 spd W-body cars which I will be going back to scavenge from.

Just went to the yard today myself. I destroyed 1 oil pan, 1 oil pan gasket, oil pickup, oil filter, 1 piston just to get the connecting rod for an experiment.
