'nother newb

Hello all! I'm planning on taking my mom's broken bonneville off her hands and was wondering, just how difficult is it to replace or rebuild the engine? My friends and I have some experience with engine work but none dealing with bonnevilles. Her car is a 98 Bonneville SE. I'd like to eventually make this my daily driver since it was the car that I learned to drive in... that and I like the look of it... thanks in advance

It isn't that hard. As long as you have the right lifts and such. I would suggest getting a FSM. This will make things much easier.

Any questions you have about working on the engine, just ask. I'm sure we will be able to answer what ever comes up.
