Default New Tires...which one?

I gotta get new tires, its down to these:

Kumho Ecsta AST (KU25) $620

or

Kumho Ecsta 711 $580

245\50\16, this size will fit on the stock 16" tourque stars, right?

I found reviews telling me that the KU25'* wouldn't be that good in the rain.

Thanks for looking! Any advice is great!

245\50'* are going to handle better than the stock 225\60'*, true?

Price difference between the 2 sizes wasn't that much.

Are Kumho'* good tire? I have them on my car, and I absolutly hate them. So far I've purchased Bridgstone, Goodyear, Firestone, Michelin and I have to say that the Kumho'* where the noisiest and roughest riding tires I've had.

he wouldnt be really going low profile; the tires are only a total of 1/2inch shorter than stock, and YES, the 245 will handle better in good weather, but not in snow, the 225 will be better in snow.

a 245/55/16 would virtually remain the same height, and still be wider and better for performance

OK, I have tried to re-size my picture on my sig in photobucket, but it doesn't seem to be making any difference, I think I screwed it up...

Anyway, has anyone had any, or know of anybody, that has experience with these specific tires?

Those prices seem pretty high for Kuhmos IMO...

If i'm spending over $100 a tire, i'm looking at the big tire companies, michy/BFG Goodyear, Continental, etc...

I have heard of many Kuhmo'* wearing out fast.

Maybe it'* the model I got but I found the road noise to above normal and I found the 95 SSEi has a lot rougher ride than the 90 SSE I used to have. The 90 had Michelin'*.

I hope you have better luck than I do.
