thinking about buying this...
2001 Chevrolet Impala LS
http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...000&cardist=10
84000 miles
3800 v6
grey leather seats
power drivers seat
etc..
they want $8900 for it, and sadly we will have to take a loss on our Trailblazer for trade in , but I feel that the engine will not last long in the TB anyways, and the loss we will take on it would probably equal the amount to replace the engine ( maybe )
Blue Book is $9105
what are some things I should look out for with this car??
I know LIM and UIM gaskets, but what about the intermediate steering shaft? is that a problem on these cars as well??
I test drove the car, and it is awesome!!! rides real nice, and the leather is nice
please take a look and tell me what you think
thank you

at LEAST SLE, SSEi preffered
under 90,000 miles
under $9,000
2000 +
must look nice, not beat up
they are out there, but it seams like I can't find any
( watch, now someone will post like 12 of them in my area meeting that exact criterea )

You'll be SOOOO happy with it. They're so nice cars, especially the LS. The seats are ALMOST as good as the AL7s, the sound system is WORLDS better than my '92, the quality is excellent, the 3800, as you know, is SUPER smooth, and I think it'* the best looking W-Body (with the right choice mods, of course )
(btw, I got my LS with all of your options except for leather for 7500 with only 73k miles )

I found a few for you Ryan, you and Stephanie may have to take a road trip down to the Detroit or Jackson area to get it but there down here. Typical of us BC members, you came on looking for an Impala and we're talking you into a Bonneville
