Default Got the 1997 SSEi on the road

It'* on the road and all I can say is "WOW". I like the 95 and many others I have driven, the series II is quite amazing and I better not drive a series III or I'll probably own one of them as well.

This car has the CCR and many have posted that when it works it'* great....yes..it really is great.

As many have said these cars are a little slower on the low end and my 95 will smoke the heck out of the tires while this 97 barely squeals....on the top end OMG

(chant'* to self..."I will try to resist the bug on the 97")

While the body style didn't change...lots changed inside of it.

Nah..I believe things changed...but the same options are there. Just different names. CCR is the same... Steering still steers...on and on..

But yes..I agree there are slight differences in the steering. Nothing to really mention though.

Get er up to 40 mph and let it coast down to 35 mph, then PUNCH IT. It'll scare you at first.

If your SSEi gets freaky at 115, you have a problem with suspension or tires. And Bill, I'm interested to hear your comparison with off the line power. Your 95 should kill the 97 off the line, and up to about the 1/8.
