Default New oxygen sensor is in and........wow

I replaced my 1-year-old Bosch o2 sensor with one from ac delco and, wow, the power increase was amazing. The engine sprung back to life.

Justin, with your 1989 the o2 sensor is alot cheaper than the 1994-newer. I can get an Echlin 02 from NAPA for $23.
Look in techinfo for the GM part # for your o2 sensor and check out gmpartsdirect.com -I bet you can have it to your door for under $25-30.
Good luck,
Martin

went there, the price is 26$ or so, but its 37$ with estimated shipping. I am going to hold off on it for a little still, since the car is still seldom driven. Although next summer.. around june [perhaps my birthday] she may be getting more mileage than my mom'* car . I guess I need to start having an income to pay for all the crap my mom never paid for.. just to "keep 'er running" which is so stupid, keepin' 'er running is like saying here, I don't care about this car, but i'm too poor to buy a new one, this is my only mode of transportation, but if it dies I don't care.. i'll just.. give it to my son, who will run it into the ground, because he doesn't know anything about cars... sorry.. venting. My mom isn't all that understanding of this.. and she refuses to help me in anyway, and usually tries to make it more difficult, making me go about it harder, and unnecessary routes to get it done. I bet at 225-250k miles she'll need a new tranny. At that point her car will have 75k and have more money put into it than she originally paid for it. So, it will be all good, plus I bet pearl will last longer than her stupid little beetle, even though she neglected her.. maybe she is seeking revenge?
