Default P0442 + cracked vacuum hose

The car (02 SSEi) threw the P0442 code, and it was suggested by the guy at Advance that I sand the gas tank filler neck smooth because there might be a bad seal there. I did that and just for the hell of it I checked around under the hood for possible vacuum leaks. I came up with this:

The pictures aren't great, they're from my cell phone. That cap was cracked pretty bad. I touched it to inspect it, and it cracked in half. Hah. The hose didn't look ridiculously bad, but if it wasn't leaking, it wasn't going to be very long. Got those replaced and all the others look good! I cut my thumb open putting the engine cover back on, though. God, I hate those things. Got the code cleared, and hoping to not see it again. Plugs and wires next weekend (NGK TR55s and Autolite Pro wires), I was going to do the plugs today but I couldn't get the wires off without it feeling like I was going to break them, so I'm waiting on the wires. Man, I wish this Bonne was mine, so I could mod it. I'm still looking for a decent Series II L67 around town. Almost bought a 98, but it was developing some nasty rust spots, had something wrong with the power steering, and needed at least 2 tires. (I probably would've bought 4 more P-Zero Neros.)

(I'm not sure if this is the correct forum or not. It'* not really a mechanical problem, since I'm not asking for help. Just sort of posting pictures of what I did this afternoon for no real reason.)

Yeah, I cleaned it up a bit with sandpaper. If the code doesn't come back in about a week, I'm in the clear. Finding vacuum hoses that needed replacing was just a bonus.
