Default Looking at Camaro RS...

OK, OK, so I'm totally ignoring the poll I posted asking which car I should buy, but...

Going to test drive a 97 Camaro RS hardtop sometime in next few days. CARFAX is clean, 110,000miles, Series 2 3800 motor, auto, blue/gray, alloys.
If the body is straight and the test drive goes well, I'll see if they'll let me take it to a mechanic for a once-over, then make an offer. Dealer wants $3800.
Wadaya think?

Sounds like a good find. I paid about the same for my bonneville with the same mileage. Be better if the camaro you are looking at had an LS1, but for the money you can't go wrong!

You could probably find an LT1 with about the same mileage for the same price. IMO, its too high for a V6 with 110K on it.

That sounds like a decent price. You can probably get them down to at least 3500$.

Just to let you know my LSS can outrun a LT1 to 80mph, after that the LT1 is game.

just to let you know, my old 93 SSEi was faster than my Supervisors 95 Camaro 3.8. The supercharger makes the difference friends lol.

The problem w/ most Camaros, or 'Birds , is they are hard to find that aren't all ready ragged out.
