Default Rallycross

I wouldn't be surprised if I was the only person that does this.

I run Solo II in my Stratus, and this weekend was my first Rallycross race. I have a 1990 LE.

I might try my Bonne @ Solo, but I think the turning radius is too crappy.

enjoy the pics. Check out www.scca.org for more info on Solo2 and Rallycross racing

I alwyas thought it would be fun to do, with a different car though. The Bonne'* turn radius could definately be better, plus I'd want something with a stronger suspension.
Too bad the U.*. has such strict rules for Rally, I love WRC racing.

I've always wanted to do that too. My school is thinking about having a Motorcross, but that just isn't the same as running on dirt.

there really isn't that strict of rules unless you go Pro Rally. or rather...there are a LOT of rules, but it not hard to comply.

There are many classes or rally cars. In the production classes, pretty much all you can do is swap the tires, gut the interior and add a role cage. Vehicle minimal weight is determined by engine displacement which for a lot of cars is not that much different than their curb weight. I don't even think you can update or backdate many parts.

the WRX - Focus - Neon'* of Pro Rally are $100,000. In theory, all it really costs you to rally is the cost of the car and putting in a rollcage and you entrance fees.

the SCCA dropped their Rally sponsorship, but Rally-America picked it up. You can download a PDF rule book on the site.

I can't believe you are serious! That is too funny! I rally in the beater all the time on the crappy winter roads in Michigan! :P
