A moment of silence please....
I just found out that my original 1st white 91 SSE just got totalled a few days ago. I had the car for 3 years and then my friend has had it for the past year and a half. My friend said she pulled out and got hit in rear quarter panel and that caused her to spin into oncoming traffic and was hit again by a third vehicle. Her daughter was slightly injured but the bonnie took the brunt of impact. I am sad for the car but happy it saved her and her daughter!
My son is looking at the car now and I've asked him to take pics if possible.

I, too, am glad to hear another set of Bonne passengers made it out OK from what sounds like a bad accident.
It also sounds like someone'* insurance will be buying her a new car...

From what I understand the seatbelt didn't lock in upon impact and the daughter hit her head and got a minor concussion.
Jeff has taken pics and I've asked that he post them here as soon as he can.

Here are the pictures. The axle is broken. the roof even is dented somehow on the passenger side. These are some really tough cars though is all i have to say.
