Default Sad find in the yard yesterday

Was at a yard yesterday I haven't been to in almost a year.
There in the Bonneville section was a fully loaded 1998 SE with Leather, ECC, dual power seats, moonroof, ELC, TC, chrome torque stars, AND FIREMIST GOLD!!!!
The overly optioned kid-brother to my old 98 SSE. I'd kill for that car -the only things it was missing were the HUD and M90 -which would make it a Firemist Gold w/chrome T-stars SSEi -the Bonneville of my dreams.
Odometer read only 51,528 miles!!!!
I am going back to get the camel leather seats in two weeks since my 95 seats are beat. They told me $200 for the fronts and rear seats, but they want another $160 for the damned door panel set. I'm gonna ask them how often they sell the door panels or seats (they never sell the Bonneville interiors -they've got SSEi'* with full interiors there that have been there for 5+ yrs. I'm gonna offer them $60 for all the panels as that'* what other yards are getting.

If only I had had my camera.
Oh, the damage was to the rear end. medium hit to the rear, causing less damage than my old 92 SE had. I didn't ask about the rims as there was only 2 left, and I'm sure they want over $100 apiece.

Buy the whole car. i can get the front end collision of the Fire mist 98 SSEi here for $300 for you and probably include the door panels in that price. not sure what all is really left, but the engine/tranny are gone.

This yard won't sell a parts car -unless I want to for it piece-by-piece, which'd probably total over $6-8G. And no doubt they didn't pay more than $7-900 for it, knowing the owners of this yard.

I know a lot of yards that will sell you the whole car for parts. You could talk to them and buy the whole car on the condition that they get the main part of the shell back. You could then use the SSEi shell (I believe it has a salvage title at minimum) and then put the motor and parts into it hand have a whole car. Would be both and SE by looks and SSEi by vin.

7-900..hahah they probably didn't pay more than 200. I have a local yard that you can pull it ... but they have to approve first, because they inventory every single screw.

That yard is organized in rows and stock number..it'* insane

Yeah the yard around me is like that, its nice though, you tell them what you want, and they give you a print out of where you can find it. Only bad thing is just as soon as the engine/trans is gone, it goes to the crusher!

But to get back on topic: I can't believe how much they want for those door panels
