Suspected Counterfeit parts
Anybody having problems with parts?
I just had an ignition coil from a recognized international chain, give out after 7 weeks.
Mere coincidence, or is it widespread?

Well in your case are you sure it is not a faulty ICM causing a repeat failure of the coilpack? and I'd assume the part probably carries a bare minimum 3 month warranty so you should be good to go.

Could just be a defective part. I had an alternator last 3 days one time. The insulator piece around the terminal just cracked and fell out, shorted the thing real quick.
