Daily Driver? Or Mod Bug made it undriveable
We all know I'm uh putting a bit into my car and working on it all the time.
Started out with simple cosmetic mods and then one or two engine mods happened.
Here we are today.. a few inches of snow...and sleet falling like mad, roads suck. My daily driver is at work out in the parking lot. There'* simply something great about having a car that can rip it up and still be reasonable enough to daily drive.......EVEN in horrible weather.
How many daily driven modded cars do we have around here? I know I'm not the only one.

My car may not be fast, But its also no where near a Stock SE
I love this car + Winter Tires
I only left 20min early today, and the road have 1-4 inch on them still. No asphalt can be seen.
And it only took me 40min to get to work, now mind you on a normal day it takes me 45-50min
Man i love these tires and Car. Not much "fun" to drive in the snow, but it is Fun to pass 4x4'* and AWD cars and truck and there only doing 30 in a 55 and i can do 55 with out any problems.
My ABS only kicked in once when i had to slow down for a slow person, but they never had to kick in for any other stopping

Becareful out there..
When you pass the rigs..that'* when you know it'* too fast.
I might have to sacrifice my current tires on the torque star rims to get dedicated snow tires. Would have done that originally, but didn't know summer rims were in the cards for me.

I know I keep on asking this but why don't you drive your Silverado? Its a truck, make it your winter beater. Sorry if you answered this before, I can't remember.

I drive my car all winter long with its mods. Out here in West Michigan, we get snow on pretty much a daily basis.
I have no TC, no Stabilitrak, barely any TM. The tires will spin a lot in the snow, but the car always stays straight. My old Bonnie was good in the snow. My GP is awesome in the snow. With the new Bridgestones on it, it'* even better.
A lot of people around the university here don't really do well in the winter. I'll drive around and see tons of people who are stuck in a parking space because of just having crappy tires or an uber-light econobox. The GP can get out of nasty situations. I was having fun one night doing powerslides on the ice, and I ended up going off on to the side of the road in to a huge pile of snow. I thought I'd be stuck since my front end was in the pile of snow. However, I put it in reverse and just eased on out.
