Can you please post your Year and trim level in your signature? Otherwise, we don't know what you are working on.

And can you enlighten me on this "fiberglass spring"? :?

Sounds like a Corvette rear spring. He may have found the wrong forum.

What kind of car do you have?

Bonneville springs are typically metal.

Please tell us what YEAR and MODEL of Bonneville (trim level) you have.

And please be more specific about the part. There are no fiberglass springs on any generation that I'm aware of.

Taking a pic of the part would help immensely.

Sounds like a rear swaybar to me. It may be fiberglass wrapped, but we don't have anything like that.

I suggest www.clubgp.com (grand prix forum).

It actually is the spring, not a swaybar.
I am not sure what other cars had them, but I know the early 90'* Lumina had the fiberglass spring also. I have seen many of them break and sag pretty bad in the back end
