MY BROTHER'S A F'N A$$, IDIOT, MORON, &*%$!&($##@%!!

I'm really pissed so I'll make it really short.

I got my car back from the body shop 1 1/2 months ago. It looked sweet. I was actually about to wax it tomorrow.

BUT, my stupid brother backed into it Sunday with a f'n Caravan!!!!!!!!! I'm guessing at least $800 in damage. The front left fender is cracked, the molding on it and on the driver's door is broken, and he buckled the door too!!! I am SO F'N PI$$ED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't even have the $$ to fix it right now, and neither does he.

It was his g/f's parents' van, and they said they'd have it fixed. He'll have to pay them back. But I'm still pi$$ed. It's such a PITA, plus I just got 2 tickets Friday. What a great weekend!!!:x :x :x :x I'm not even going to take pictures this time I don't want to f'n look at it.

Sorry for all the "f's" :x

CraZyDriVer868 06-23-2003 01:17 AM

claim it

bonnie94ssei 06-23-2003 01:25 AM

Yeah well I wish this didn't happen, but when I'm done fixing up the parts of the car that need it, I'll almost get a complete new paint job. They'll have to repaint my hood this time, and it needs it anway.

I'M STILL F'N PI$$ED!!!!! :x

Bassplayincrowe 06-23-2003 01:59 AM

Dont worry dude. We know those F bombs were laid in a perfectly good way.

I know how you feel. 3 people backed up into me and I dont even know who they were! Those people should get a switf kick in the ass!

Atleast you know who did it, and you know where he sleeps.

Roadrash187 06-23-2003 02:22 AM

Just have your brother claim it on his insurance.

bonnie94ssei 06-23-2003 08:24 AM

He has the same insurance co. as me. And right now, we're both on our parents.

I'll figure this crap out today.

Paulnold 06-23-2003 09:27 AM

Dawg i feel you man!

 Man i hate hearing stuff this this :(

95naSTA 06-23-2003 09:45 AM

Just to let you know on the costs.....To fix my bonneville front end damage of: Both Fenders, Passenger Marker light, Front Fascia, etc was $3800 Cdn. The second accident was a passenger fender replace & Passenger Marker light only & that cost about $450 for the fender, $30 for the lamp, plus paint 7 labour.

They may not cause he wasn't even in the car at the time.

russianpolarbear 06-23-2003 01:01 PM

I feel for you man, I like your car too... Ateast youll have new paint... :?

bonnie94ssei 06-23-2003 01:11 PM

If it goes on any insurance it will go on his g/f's parents, because he was driving their van.

I just got an estimate of $1895.00!!!!!!!! I don't think they'll want to pay that, so they'll probably put it on their insurance, unless they don't want their rates to go up. They'll have to figure it out, but I want my car fixed ASAP!

He'll have to pay his g/f's parents back when they pay for it. But I'm not paying sh**.

And yes, at least I'll get my hood and left door painted new this time. :) Since I took the scoops off they can do the hood easier, so I guess I took them off at the right time.

So after this is fixed, I WILL have a complete new paint job on exactly half of the car. That's not bad. (I'm still pissed) And once I get my rust fixed, I'll get the back of my car repainted.

BonneMeMN 06-23-2003 01:15 PM

My roomate for school next year was sitting in his cavalier this weekend and some asshole in a POS broke off the drivers side mirror, he sped off quick too. My roomate wasn't even worryingabout it, and before he knew what hit him (pun) the guy was around the cars next to him. Sick sH*& on how people don't care about the things they spend the most money on in their life.

I dont see where the rust is in your pics... Where is it at?

bonnie94ssei 06-23-2003 01:25 PM

Russian, I can't bear to look at it. I see it everyday and it pisses me off.
I didn't want to post pics of it.

I do have a pic, so I'll see if I can find it. I'll post it soon so you can see what I've been dealing with. It's a big problem but I want to fix it. I like the car too much.

Jim W 06-23-2003 01:56 PM

When is the body work scheduled to start?

bonnie94ssei 06-23-2003 02:17 PM

Here's the damage my dumb brother did. You can tell the door is bent in more than one place and the fender's cracked at the bottom. The plastic trim will have to be replaced too. PITA!! (Below is the rust I have to fix when I get the $$...I'm ashamed to show it but I can't feel any worse than I do now.)

I should know by tomorrow when/where I can get it fixed.

I had some scratches and dull spots on my hood after I took the scoops off, so at least I'll get rid of those when they repaint it. Plus the numerous chips in the paint. I'm kind of looking forward to the new paint. It should look very nice when it's done. Half my car will technically be NEW!

Allmachtige 06-23-2003 11:49 PM

$1800 isnt bad. I don't want to make you feel bad, but you should have taken care of that rust earlier, unless you bought it that way.

bonnie94ssei 06-24-2003 09:23 AM

I did buy it that way. Some ppl said I shouldn't have, but the rest of the car is near perfect, so I felt that it would be worth it to get the car if I fixed the rust. What do others think? I still should have taken care of it earlier, but I didn't have the $.

95BonnevilleSESC 06-24-2003 11:45 AM

I say 'fissit'.

russianpolarbear 06-24-2003 01:06 PM

I would say you should sand that rust down and put some primer and some near matching paint on that area so it doesnt completely rust off... That should only run you about 20 bucks for primer paper and paint. Paint being 10$ a can and so on. If that rusts all the way thru you will have a big problem on your hands. :?

Bassplayincrowe 06-24-2003 01:27 PM

My opinion on the rust. . .

Get a compressor and die grinder as soon as you can.....and bust that baby down to steel. Dont worry about paint, take all the rust off you can see. ANd i mean ALL of it, inside and outside.

It may just be easier to cut out a big whole and add in a patch piece.

But you'll want to use etching primer on the rust after its done (DONT LET IT GET WET WATER WILL GO RIGHT TROUGH AND RUST AGAIN! And withing weeks of the new paint on it.) Then coat it will expoxy primer. Then with a regular primer to bring it up and work out the shape. Then paint etc.

Thats basically what we did on my rear areas. Theres only one spot of rust were it was really bad (right above the exhaust pipes near the edge of the trunk). We'll have to keep an eye on it. But we added years to the car.

bonnie94ssei 06-24-2003 01:35 PM

Thanks guys for the suggestions on the rust, but it is a big a$$ hole and sanding it won't help. I think the best way to get rid of it and keep it away for a good while is to replace the panel. I'll do it, as soon as I get whatever it will cost, I'm doing it...this summer.

russianpolarbear 06-24-2003 01:48 PM

Man that Sig pic is awesome... 8)

bonnie94ssei 06-24-2003 01:54 PM

Thanks!

It was taken a split second before I ran over a ricer, from his point of view.

russianpolarbear 06-24-2003 02:12 PM

Mean looking I need some eye brows..

bonnie94ssei 06-24-2003 04:14 PM

That's why I made them...gave it more attitude 8)

They're pretty easy to make, you should do it. :D

BonneMeMN 06-24-2003 05:52 PM

They are pretty slick, did you just use the regular touch up paint, or some factory paint? I'm also tempted to try something like that but with the chrome spray, or chrome tape they have at JC Whitney... Chrome eyelids anyone? :D

95BonnevilleSESC 06-24-2003 05:55 PM

My car is almost chrome delete. It would make more sense to do body color like 94.

bonnie94ssei 06-24-2003 06:09 PM

I'm not sure what chrome would be like. But the body color look is more to my liking anyways. They blend in with the car since they're green, but you can still tell there are eyebrows on the lights. I'm not sure how many ppl driving by me noticed them. They're a pretty good size so I'm sure they did. Either way, I LOVE the look. 8)

I used TX 360 Duplicolor (11oz.) spray can. It's an exact match (even though it's a 1998-2000 Chyrsler Corp. color...go figure.)

BonneMeMN 06-24-2003 06:13 PM

Yes they are nice, i like the body color, but chrome would be sweet on some rides, my SE has the chrome trim on the top of the side paneling, and the chrome around the SSE style grill. Know any good places to get some SSE style tail lights cheap? I wont do it right away but it would be nice to know where to get them int he future and not pay GM an arm and a leg. Maybe my roomate can get me some, his dad works ata GM dealer in SW minnesota.
