Moonroof Cost ????

What would the normal cost be to have a Moonroof put on a car ? I am looking to go to a dealer and have a factory one put in my 2001 Bonneville SE. Would that be the way to go or should I go elsewhere. Let me know.....Thanks

I got a quote for a powered sunroof...it was in the neighbourhood of $1000 at Ziebarts. And the warranty was less then comforting. I wanted to do a powered moonroof, but it is so risky.

Maybe the dealer might have more luck but be prepared to shell out the coinage...very spendy....$$$$$

cost

i have a friend who puts on those fake convertable tops on brand new cars( they dont come from the factory) and moonroofs also. about $1000 - $1100.

I would just leave it as is, yea its nice having a moonroof but to much to worry about if its aftermarket.

I dont think they can put a Factory one in. If you look at a factory one the roof is stamped specially for the sunroof, I think the only way a true factory one could be installed would be to cut the roof off and put a new roof in.

A friend of mine had a power one installed in his S-10. It dropped in like factory, had a sun shade like factory, and even looked factory. The cost was $950.
