I just had the goodyear RS-A'* rebalanced and they still shake,looked it up on tirerack and they had bad reviews...what do you guys think. al

Once a tire has been balanced, more than likely it will stay balanced until it gets remounted to an unbalanced (rotor, driveshaft, or hub).

Can you narrow it down to which wheel is doing it?

well the front 2 were doing it,then got them done and then noticed back shaking,..so got them done...still shakes..read tire rack comments on goodyear rs-a'*

If you can, raise each rear wheel off the ground. Grab the tire at the 6 and 12 o'clock position and push pull to check for play. Do the the same thing again at 9 and 3'clock position. Do this for each wheel. You need to check for play in the wheel bearings, and check for play in the suspension itself.

If you find nothing, rotate your tires to the front to see if the shaking follows the rear tires.

If the rear end still shakes, I would look at the possiblity of warped unbalanced brake drums.

If the front end shakes now after the rotation, find another tire shop to balance your wheels.

I plan on rotatation,I got 4 wheel discs..gonna check air shocks I have that pump thing in the trunk..me

Getting rid of the Goodyears was the best thing we ever did for our ssei.

ive had them do that on both my Grand Prixs, best thing I did was get rid of them

Never had a problem with mine, and wore them down to bald. I do like the Goodyear gForce'* better. They have more grip, but you pay with alot less mileage wear. I had trouble with some tires on my truck. Took them back and the guy redid them but said it was the tires. the front still shook. Took it to another shop and they got them right on and told me it was the previous balancer, not the tires. Whatever the tire, it should be able to be balanced. I know alot of shops just weight one side and go. This doesn't always work out on the road when larger weights are needed.

I looked on tire rack and they are not cheap.the RSA'* .got quote for continentals for 107 each mounted and installed with the new road balancer that puts a weight on the tire as its spinning...

I bought a set of Aurora H107s and I love them. Tread life isn't that great but the grip and price were excellent. Aurora is Hankook'* cheap brand.
