One thing to remember about window tinting, first, it can make cops kinda nervous. Second, anything with metallic film or particulates is going to mess with the sensitivity of your radar detector.

Well.. talking to a few tint shops, they've said that mirror tint even though it looks cool.. where fade out and wear out quicker then normal tint. Whether it'* true or not.. I don't know.. but have heard it from several tinting shops.. look into that before anything. Best thing is if you're gettin it professionally done.. ask them what happens if the mirror tint fades off before the warrenty expires ( as most places would have lifetime warrenty ). And if they say yes.. ensure that the warrenty is for parts and labor..I wanted that so badly for my car too.. but I think I might stick with regular tint..

I can only tell you , I love my tint and there are no signs of fade. I think I would have seen something by now. I paid 180.00 !

I was actually thinking about the mirror tint from black to silver but I did not want my car to stick out too much. I thought it would be cool for a while with the chrome wheels and all but come winter, it would look awkward with the gold wheels. I think keeping my car all black with chrome feet looks real good and I'm happy.
