Is that 98% original on the engine or the whole car? Is you're trans original? My friend had a 90' Ford F-150 w/ 405,000 on it. The truck ran like a champ, then one day some dumba$* sideswiped it and totalled it. Nedless to say my friend was quite pissed.
Nothing has been rebuil, so original trans and engine... what i've fixed:

one wheel bearing
ignition coil/module (shorted it putting my alarm in)
starter and alternator (huge stereo system)
a $1.50 hose fitting for the radiator overflow

and thats it...

1992 SE totalled at 3xx,xxx miles -odometer stopped working the day I bought it at 180,9xx miles and I know I put well over 100,000 miles on by the time I was rear-ended 1-1/2 years later.

1994 SLE 206,080 Miles

1999 SSEi 156,8xx miles (bought in January with 142,189 miles)

I did replace the trans at 245,000

2 serpintine belts
1 water pump and plugs , still does not burn oil.

The air cond still works great.........even in the hot Florida weather.

I want to see how far this car will go without major repairs.
The best car I have ever owned!!!

wow, i was really surprised to see no one had over 200,000 until the last few posts. most of the Bonnies on ebay seem to be real close to 200,000 if not more.

fwiw, my Cutlass has 220,000 miles, and my GTS has 215,000 (and still runs dead even with a friend'* stock 78k '00 GTP lol)

my '95 SE has a little over 147,000 right now. Still running pretty good, except the serpentine and water pump just had to replaced last week.
