Most distance on one tank of gas?
I got 690km (428 miles) on one tank of gas, the fuel light came on at 650km. It took 61.5 L to fill it up. I'm pretty happy with that, and I wasn't babying it until the last 1/4 tank either. There were a few tire spinning launches and alot of driving with the sunroof open and the windows down. It was about 70/30 hwy driving. L8r...Andru.

I'v gotton about the same (little over 400 miles). I was doing 55 on a road trip. all highway driving. @ 200 miles I was only down to 3/4 tank. First quarter always goes the slowest though.
Worst gas milage = Full tank of premium in around 80 miles. Doing 104 w/cruise for 45 minutes in norther MN. Car did great until I stoppped. Took two hours for the engine light to clear. Probably not good for the car but fun!

I wish I could remember the cruising range but I have some statistics about a trip to/from Oberlin, Ohio from Wash. D.C. Lots of care in consistent fill-up procedure for accurate calculation.
1) 1993 Pontiac Bonneville SE normally aspirated (170hp): 85-90 mph --> 30.23 mpg!!! Best 1/4 miles: 16.28 at 82.1 mph. Best magazine time with 2.84 diff'l gear is 16.7 at 84mph.
2) 1995 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am 6-speed with borla exhaust (~285 hp): 85-90 mph --> 26.7 mpg; 61 mph --> 31.4 mpg. Best 1/4 mile: 14.002 at 100.3 mph for this setup. Best magazine time is 14.0 at 101 mph (stock).
3) 1996 Pontiac Bonneville SE/SLE */C (240hp): 85-90 mph --> 26.6 mpg. Hitting it full throttle on other occasions really sucks fuel down. Best 1/4 mile: 14.5 at 94.1 mph. Best magazine time on base */C Bonne is C&D 2/96 15.3 at 92 mph.
4) 1992 Lexus ES300 (185 hp): 85-90 mph --> 24.7 mpg. Best 1/4 mile: 16.57 at 83.1 mph. Best magazine time is C&D 2/92 of 16.5 at 85 mph

My best ever MPG was 40.1 on a cool fall day for about a 4 hour road trip with no AC. I was averaging between 65-70 mpg.
I have never been able to repeat that so I don't know how accurate it is. My best ever repeatable mpg has been around 36 mpg on several different day trips with some city driving.

:P Hi, haven`t tested me Bonnie`* thrist for fuel on the hwy yet, but in town driving only ( this is true ) 511klm`* to the line above E. Not bad for a 3500+ beast, with ( wink, wink ) slightly warmed-over motor

It all depends on whether you're talking "City" or "HWY"! In the city I get about 300 KM BUT on the HWY I got 1/8th of a tank & went 450 KM on just that 1/8th tank!

450km on an 1/8! That means with a full tank u would have gotten about 3600km, sure your positive about that 1/8 of a tank? Or did u find the longest downhill strecth on the planet LOL.
