Default Two different colors of White for 92 Bonneville ?

I recently bought a 92 Bonneville and had to replace the Rim as it was cracked by the previous owner from hitting a curb. I replaced the Rim but the color is different from the rest of the car.

My question is Back in 92 did Bonnevilles come in, two different colors of White (White & Off White) ?

Thanks in Advance,
Dutch

are you talking about the SSE and the SSEI that have the color matched wheels?? If so the rim could be discolored by brake dust

Since you didn't specify the trim, i'm guessing you have a SSE or SSEi with the color matched rims. There wasn't 2 different colors of white. Did you replace the white wheel(*) with another stock rim? I'm guessing that the color has just faded over the years, like mine. Since the rims are "new", they obviously haven't been able to fade or has faded more.

Got any pics?

I'm pretty sure my paint code indicates arctic white on my 92 SSE.

is the color difference like my passenger fender:

I got the fender off a 92 SE at the junkyard thinking it was the same color, but when I got it on the car, I noticed it was off a shade. Not sure which color is called which. I always assumed that the car was the arctic white, but I could be wrong.

I didn't check the vin number yet.

The car is a 92 SSEi with the 12 slot color key rims.

The car and the 3 original rims are the color of your fender (an off White, like a cream color) and the rim I got from the scrap yard is like a paper White.

What part of the Vin # tell you what color the car is OR is there a paint badge ?

Thanks again,
Dutch
